CDSJ 6 Junior & Senior English Drama Competition

On April 12, 2025, our school successfully held an English Drama Competition for junior and senior secondary students. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students across different grades, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with excitement and enjoyment.

The Junior division featured six participating teams. Their performances primarily centered around stories, creatively adapted and vividly portrayed by the Junior students. Meanwhile, the Senior division comprised seven teams, who presented dramas adapted from renowned literary works, showcasing deeper thematic elements and sophisticated interpretations.

Following the performances, each participating team joined a character parade, allowing the students to showcase their costumes and interact with the audience in a lively manner. Additionally, the audience members were invited to vote for their favorite drama, further enhancing engagement and enthusiasm among the attendees.

Throughout the competition, students demonstrated outstanding theatrical talent and significantly improved their English proficiency. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from both the performers and the audience, creating a festive and cheerful atmosphere.

Overall, the competition was a great success, highlighting students' creativity and language skills while fostering greater confidence and teamwork.
